About Dr. Chin

Dr. Bridget Chin graduated from Boston University School of Medicine in 1997 and has been practicing Medical Acupuncture since 2005. As a physician trained in surgery and acupuncture at Harvard Medical School, she integrates over 25 years of knowledge and experience to provide the best for her patients in eastern and western medicine supported by science. A national and international presenter, Dr. Chin is an assistant professor at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine and an instructor at Spaulding Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School. Recent publications include the significance of interdisciplinary pain programs for patients with chronic pain and complementary medicine following traumatic brain injury.

As a national and international workshop and symposia presenter, she remains committed to advancing integrative medicine through scholarship and education. Her work reflects her dedication to promoting Integrative Health by encompassing both Eastern and Western medicine to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Dr. Chin is devoted to medical education at MSU CHM, training future physicians to approach patient care with clinical rigor, holistic insight, and teaching of the virtuous professional.  An inductee of the Gold Humanism Honor Society 2025, Dr. Chin emphasizes interdisciplinary thinking, patient-centered approaches, and evidence-based integrative therapies, promoting the importance of self-care and wellness for her students.

She enjoys traveling to different beaches, salsa dancing, learning about science and hanging out with her dog, Cinnamon. She is happily married and has two awesome daughters.
